More about me...

Diverse Professional Experience Rooted in Relationship, Meaning, and Growth

My professional journey spans more than 30 years and reflects a blend of work as a technology, business, and organizational consultant, and later as a therapist.

Before completing my clinical training and becoming a licensed psychologist, I worked across a wide range of roles and settings, including mental health and healthcare administration, technology and product development, early-stage startups, executive leadership and coaching, and entrepreneurial projects.

These experiences, together with my clinical training, have given me a deep appreciation for the challenges people face, the resilience they draw upon, and the psychological processes that shape growth, change, and meaning in life.

Throughout my work, I have been guided by a deep curiosity about the human psyche and a commitment to applying psychological principles in ways that support meaningful healing and growth. Currently, I work with individuals, couples, and groups, attending both to personal life challenges in the service of fulfillment and self-growth as well as to professional and vocational development.

I believe that healing and fulfillment are rooted in supportive, authentic relationships and in our capacity to relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us. In my work with clients, this relational focus helps create a safe space for self-discovery, greater self-acceptance, deeper connection, and a growing sense of personal meaning and achievement.

Research and Development

Alongside clinical work, I engage in research and development of a relationship-guided leadership and communication approach and its curriculum. This is an extension of my doctoral dissertation and work that I have focused on over the past twenty years integrating psychology, leadership, data-driven feedback, and relational/relationship/interpersonal intelligence.

This work has culminated in the ComplexAbility℠ relationship-building and communication method, a framework that I designed to help people:

  • Navigate emotional complexity

  • Understand competing needs and differing perspectives

  • Communicate effectively under pressure

  • Lead with empathy, clarity, and adaptability

ComplexAbility℠ reflects my belief that the most important skill of our time is the ability to relate through feelings, emotions and cognition within complex systems — human and technological.
